INTO THE MUSIC YOU LEARN

DISCHOLARS teaches music tech

Much of the music you hear today has been made or produced using an electronic or digital instrument.

This may be software such as a digital audio workstation, a.k.a. a DAW, or physical hardware such as a drum pad.

We teach these instruments.

what we offer

We currently offer two services:

  • Private lessons. These can be one-on-one, or in small groups

  • Workshops. These are for larger groups and focus on specific subjects

private lessons

We aim to encourage creativity in our lessons. Each lesson therefore focuses on combining explanation and play. Students learn musical concepts and tools, enabling them to compose and produce their own music.

What stage of learning you are at does not matter. Our lessons are suitable for absolute beginners or advanced learners. Contact us to discuss what best suits you.

workshops

We deliver workshops to large groups that focus on specific subjects. These include ‘how to sample’, and how to use specific software.

We can tailor workshops to accommodate your interests. Let us know what you would like to learn!
